I’m back on Ravelry after a couple months away. It was getting too costly.
But life conspires against me; people lure me back to my doom. I see knits like this and follow the leader til I am happily engaged in another pattern. And if I can keep it to just one pattern I may be in with a chance of survival. The day I do a ‘search’ for free patterns all hope is lost. I may as well throw my wallet into a crowded market and shout “heads up”.
The knitathon for Christmas gifts took it’s toll. I was ready to sell all needles and run away and hide myself, but this poncho is such an easy knit, and I do so want a poncho. Although I don’t think I want tassles. But I am happily engaged in this project that it is distracting me from the fact that I have no machine, no car and no money. Kinda.
I’m digging the colour, and as I have 800+ yards to play with I may make it on the large side. Ahem. You know, for modesty’s sake.
I don’t think it will take too long to finish, so if you aren’t on Ravelry, I’ll post here insha’allah with an update soon! Yes I really do spoil you!
Oooooh – I *want* a poncho!!!
A.xx
You know, I’ve been looking for a poncho pattern for ages now. I want something lacey, big holes and all, but this one looks nice as well. I might have a go too 🙂
Well get cracking then ladies. If you are on Ravelry Z then do a search for free poncho patterns – there are quite a few you might like!
I am on Ravelry and did a search for a free poncho pattern the other day but didn’t like anything, I mean I did like few patterns but they seemed to be way over my abilities 🙂 This one looks easy and I found some yarn at home that I don’t value too much – good thing in case it doesn’t work out 🙂 Wouldn’t want to spoil nice yarn 😛
Btw I’m moving to wordpress as well, I’ll leave you a link to my new home in next few days InshaAllah. Blogger is a pain…
i yum the colour. what about the babywearing one ,))
