Yes. You. Right at the back? What’s that??

No, Geertrude, you do NOT make another hat. Wrong answer. Stay behind after class.
You make a scarf that’s more hole than neck warmer. Easy.

Cast on 18 stitches on size 8mm needles and away you go, K1, yo, k2tog all the way. Just the right size to fit around the neck and slip into the front of a sweater.

OK, Geertrude, write “I will not knit another hat as long as I live” seven thousand times on the back of this knitting pattern….

Haha! Could have done that. Why didn’t you post this earlier?
But… did you know I have been on a scarf obsession too? I made thirteen in six weeks two years ago (to give away to my family for Sinterklaas – at least that’s my excuse and I’ll stick to it).
This year I already made two and two neckwarmers. Come to think of it… I really seem to like the smaller projects… I see a sock obsession coming up!
I do like this pattern though. So… maybe I’ll knit one from another bit of yarn that is too little for a scarf (and yes, I was thinking about making a hat from it… *ducks* )
There’s really no hope for you is there
Beautiful scarf!
Thankyou! Debbie Bliss cotton is so wonderfully soft!

Lovely – I’m going to have a go at this one insha-Allah.
