EF – camera. Oh where to begin dearest? DSLR cameras come in all shapes and sizes and price tags. The professional models are a grand plus. The bottom end price entrance into DSLR depends on make and model, really.

Nikons are more expensive than Canon on the whole, but Canon seem to have more lenses to buy and choose from. This is a Canon 400D and is more camera than I could possibly want unless I went professional. It’s a really good camera.

The next on my list is a Nikon D80 which about £500 more for not really much difference.

When choosing a new camera (if you want a good one) stay away from the point and shoot models and aim for a DSLR – a low megapixel DSLR will produce better shots than a high megapixel point and shoot.

I also want a new sewing machine and overlocker, so let’s get into everything Q wants…. its a long list. You know, after health and world peace, obviously… Hm…

Don’t listen to any of them Q, your current pictures are ‘alright’ but you definitely need a new camera.

It is a necessity. There are no two ways about it.

Cut back on all basic spending, give the kids gruel, fruit is far better out of a tin anyway (more sugar and kids love that), save petrol (the kids can journey into magical worlds on the television anyway).

I am quite reasonable (hah! don’t say a WORD Q!!!!) but the fact that my camera is sub standard keeps me awake some nights.

I also want a new mascara, as the one I have is gloopy. PLUS I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed lunch sometime soon, I have now got so sick and tired of cooking stuff myself I am FANTASISING about having lunch at a cafe.

There’s only so much you can do with a camera you are not that happy with.

Just buy it and tell dh that you were walking along the road when suddenly *poof* there was a flash of light and some fairy dust came sprinkling down and there was a new camera!!! And it had ‘To Q’ written on a little leaf attached with magical gossamer thread.

Then there will be no problems because you will be left in peace.

So then. Have you checked out which is the best camera to go bankrupt over? Is it the one you have featured here? I would like to know as I want to be sure I am doing the right thing too.
